Amazon false price?

Hi,
This morning I noticed a reference to Amazon having Wii consoles for $250, starting at 9:10am PST. I saw it at 9:12am, and the link worked but the actual price was $409. Does the tracker automatically update the price, or is it just assumed that if Amazon sells the Wii it'll be $250?

the $250 price was automatically detected at the time when wii is detected in stock on Amazon.com.

price changes after sold out.

It's also setting off my RSS alert every 5 minutes because of that time stamp changing, I suppose.

Exclamation

Ideally, it shouldn't say 'IN STOCK' when you check the web site and find that it is a pre-release and not available for over a month. I refer to the alert for'GameStop.'

Just to be clear, the company 'GameStop' isn't saying anything false or misleading. The only problem is here where it says 'IN STOCK' the seller is not claiming 'IN STOCK' but rather just giving an opportunity to pre-order.

Thanks! It now says 'pre-order' on the main list.

But, down below it still says 'in stock' which triggers a message.

3/11 16:34 PT GameStop has Wii Gamers Pack w/ 4 games in stock for $535.

Seems safe to change; there is nothing stopping anyone from being alerted on 'pre-order' if they wish.

Wii Tracker - Costco.ca site issue

Is there any way that the Costco.ca websites can be fixed so they do not create an alert everytime the RSS feed is refreshed? They have completely removed the Wii from their website.

Or am I just missing something??

thanks!

Something Wrong with Amazon?

I was surprised to learn that Amazon had Wiis in on Wednesday and the tracker didn't pick them up. Is this because they sold out so quickly or has Amazon changed the HTML in some way that negated the tracker's effectiveness? Anyway, I thought I should put this up seeing as there a still a lot of us (myself included) who have not managed to get a wii.

I changed to the tracker that only reports new in stock info so as not to receive alerts every 5 minutes but it doesn't seem to update at the same speed as the others. Mar 16 08:54 PT listing didn't show up for me until Mar 17 09:50 or so PST. It had been on the other feeds all day, just not this one.

I may just be doing something wrong, my goal was to have it pop up and alert me whenever a new in stock announcement came up.

I'm sure there are many out there that are trying to get a reasonably priced system and not these ridiculously priced and packaged bundles, and I thank you guys for taking the time to help us with these feeds.

Fizzer, did you try this RSS feed: http://www.xpbargains.com/trackerlog_rss.php/wii

it should only alert you if there is any new item in stock.

Canadian Wii tracker problem

The Canadian Wii tracker is giving a "Costco MAY have Nintendo Wii" result constantly, since the site was updated somehow, but not to say there are any available, which makes the tracker pretty useless until it gets fixed by someone (it'll notify of this change every update).
