Designed for better portability, the 1310, 1510 and 1710 are thinner and lighter than the previous generation of Vostro laptops. They also feature enhanced security options such as fingerprint readers, TPM 1.2 which helps prevent unauthorized network access, cable lock slot and factory-installed security software.
