Review, D-Link DGS-2208 Ethernet Desktop Switch User Reviews: | | | | | Solid Performer | | Review By: sifuchar on Jan. 30, 2007 | | Good: Silent operation, Zero Setup | | Bad: Slightly Warm, Stacking Concerns | Review Summary: I have a hodge-podge of Gigabit Switches in my network: Linksys, Netgear, and D-Link. This D-Link has been the only solid and trouble-free one of the bunch. I have had to replace BOTH Linksys EG008W's after wasting hours trying to get Linksys to fulfill their warranty obligations. The Netgear has one port out and other one goes out if it moves at all - I understand from comments I've read that I am not alone in this problem.
I am now replacing them with the D-Link DGS-2208. | |
