Review Summary: Bought one of these from a pawn shop still in the box at a price I couldn't refuse. I had previously owned two RCA 50" and 42" plasma screens. I was joyfully impressed with this Westinghouse 32" LCD. It is the perfect screen dimension for average size rooms. The LCD is evenly lit and can be seen at any angle. It automatically detects source input - so no manually switching to DVD or TV. What really attracted me to this set was the built-in DVD player. It is amazing. Watching an IMAX DVD on this screen blows me away! The clarity is surround sound is just amazing. It has a large amount of manual settings so you can choose your viewing experience. You set the audio, color, contrast, hue, and everything else you could want for a personalized viewing experience. The included remote is easy to use. It also has HDMI ports which are a plus for gamers. I had been looking for a widescreen HDTV with built-in DVD player for a while. I was hoping Panasonic would jump in an produce one but they haven't yet. I would most definitely recommend this to everyone. There simply isn't anything I don't like about it. | |
