 | | Great Television |
| Review By: CWB Willie on Apr. 12, 2009 |
| Good: N/A |
| Bad: TV tuner went out after 3 years HDTV tuner still works |
Review Summary: Ive had this TV since 2006 and I have had it hooked up to my PC, digital cable, HDTV cable, and it has been a great investment for me. It was only $600 when i bought it online from Wal-mart.com I have 2 other televisions in the house and use this as my "Big Screen" monitor for my PC with a HDMI cable into the HDMI input of the T.V. I have it in a 1080i HD resolution and it is very sharp and clear The T.V. tuner aparently has gone out after about the 5th or 6th move with this T.V. but the rest of it including the HDTV tuner still all works great. I can also hook these built in HD speakers up to my PC and they work great!!! |

 | | Worse than Awful |
| Review By: Urmadgesty2009 on Feb. 10, 2009 |
| Good: N/A |
| Bad: DO NOT BUY WITHOUT WARRANTY! |
Review Summary: Please do not buy without warranty or you will be sorry!!! When it works, it is very nice; however, I think it is the worst television on the planet. After the first year, the sound stopped working, then a 1/2 year later the picture went out. I paid over $800.00 for this television in 12/06. What an awful Christmas present for my fiance. I should have purchased the warranty, but did not because televisions usually lasts forever. I still have working ones from the 80s, 90s, and 2003. Unfortunately, we cannot afford to buy another one, so all of his HD dreams are on hold. What a bummer. Thanks a lot Visco or whoever made this junk. |

| Good: nothing |
| Bad: everything |
Review Summary: I bought this tv 18 moonths ago. It was good at first, but now it won't turn on. I have to turn it on and let it warm up all day, then unplug it and turn it back on. If it does turn on it lets out a scream that runs you out of the room. I would like to meet the moron who designed this tv. |

 | | do not buy it!!!! |
| Review By: Darrell & Ramona on Jul. 26, 2008 |
| Good: nothing |
| Bad: everything |
Review Summary: The thing is only about 18 months old and now is worthless. There is a high pitch buzzing sound that sometime goes away but when the tv is cold we get no picture. When we first turn it on, the TV gets lines either across or up and down with no picture. Then, TV emits a very high-pitched, intolerable sound that cannot be stopped unless it is unplugged. We are unable to turn it off unless you unplug it. The picture goes digital or black screen. The sound is bad trying to use the sound effects button. No bass and no surrond sound quality. |

Review Summary: I bought this tv for my husband December 2006. It broke February 14, 2008 - only one year and 2 months after purchase. He pampered this set and he was the only person that used it. I advise you not to buy this product. |

 | | VISCO Sound Problem |
| Review By: hjhnson on Feb. 7, 2008 |
| Good: Picture, Price |
| Bad: Sound, Tech Support |
Review Summary: I bought a 32 in VISCO 10 months ago and I have the widely reported sound problem. Loud humming that is getting worse. Not just on one input, but on all. You can go through surround sound but it will be obvious there is no sound from tv. Great pic but bad audio Don't buy Visco it unless you are into silent movies. PS Tech support is not existent. Your money is gone. |

 | | DO NOT BUY You will get what you pay for |
| Review By: unhappycustomer on Nov. 6, 2007 |
| Good: cheap |
| Bad: so many problems, will eventually die, bad customer service |
Review Summary: At first I thought this was a great buy. It was cheap and had an ok picture. In a few months however, it started having tons of problems. There was an extremely loud humming sound that would be louder than the show that was on- even when you turned the volume up. It was so bad I would just turn the tv off in frustration. There was also big lines going down the screen and black dots appearing. The remote stopped working. When I called the tech people to get this fixed, it was a NIGHTMARE. It took forever to get a hold of anyone, for weeks all I got was some guy's voicemail. What support company lets customers just go to a machine? Then when I finally did talk to someone, I had to keep following up and reminding them to do something. I had to ship the tv out to CA on my own dollar after they sent me a box to put it in (this in itself took the guy 3 weeks to send the box because he forgot). Now I have receieved the "fixed" tv back and it looks like there is a layer of water under the screen, nice steady waves going across it.
BAD BRAND. DO NOT BUY. |

| Good: N/A |
| Bad: everything |
Review Summary: I bought it because it was a cheap price. Now I know why. It is crap. I bought it back in November and after 5 months it started screwing up. I should have known then it would only get worse. Now it is too late to return to Walmart and trying to get a hold of anyone at VISCO is impossible. When I finally did, all they did was take my name, email address and phone # and said someone would contact me. I am still waiting!!! Do not waste your money on this TV!!! |

 | | I learned better |
| Review By: Desertstraw on Sep. 10, 2007 |
| Good: Almost nothing |
| Bad: Everything |
Review Summary: I wrote the first review here just after I bought it. After five months, beyond Wal-Mart's return period, I cannot turn it on. When I tried to get customer service under the warranty, they do not answer the phone but refer you to a voice mailbox which may or not be full. I then checked other reviews on the Wal-Mart site and found that other people have had the same experience as I, both breakdown and failure to get customer service. If you are lucky it breaks down in less than 60 days so Wal-Mart will take it back. DON'T BUY IT. |

 | | Well pleased on first use |
| Review By: Desertstraw on Apr. 14, 2007 |
| Good: overall performance |
| Bad: needs a better manual |
Review Summary: I just picked this set up at Wal-Mart yesterday. The Wal-Mart site-to-store service is very fast so that ordering by internet causes little inconvenience. For me, one of the reasons for picking this over Olevia was that if anything was wrong, I could easily return it without a hassle.
The picture is as good as I could have hoped even though I did not fine tune it in any way. I may play with it in the future. I am using my stero for the audio but did not hear any noticeable hum before turning the sound off on the TV. When the sound is muted and you are very close to the unit you can hear a slight hum.
Because of where I live, I am unable to try the HDTV. I have tried the composite (for my DVD player) and S-video inputs and they both work properly.
I think that one important matter to comment on is that in using this TV it is more like using a computer than a standard TV. I was fooled by the fact that like a computer it has a main on-off switch and then another on-off switch for actual use. Although I have improvised I am not sure that I understand how the aspect button works. Both the 16:9 and 4:3 aspect choices failed to fill the screen. When I chose "zoom" both filled the screen and I did not see any distortion.
The picture is much brighter than my old TV and I will probably dim it somewhat. Living in area of intense sunlight, movies with lots of night scenes were hard to view during daytime with my old set.
On first use it is difficult to give a proper rating. I chose good as a compromise but might in time regarded it as excellent or if anything goes wrong less than good.

 | | Best Deal on LCD Televisions |
| Review By: dultimate1 on Feb. 14, 2007 |
| Good: Everything about it. |
| Bad: Not a thing. |
Review Summary: I purchased the Visco model VSC-32V1 32" LCD television from Walmart.com for a mere $598. The total invoice with tax, shipping and the additional 2 year warranty contract was a total of $728. I was worried about the lack of knowledge I had about the company Visco, but based on my ability to purchase the additional 2 year service warranty contract through Wal-mart, I decided to take the risk. Also, the price verses specs and options is a no brainer (1000:1 contrast and 500 nits brightness, HDMI connection and a whole host of additional digital and A/V hookups, including a set on the side of the television.). Keep in mind I had the money to spend on a much more expensive widely known national brand and model, but chose to take a chance on this brand and model based on its abilities verses price. I am always hunting and shopping for the best deal out there on the internet and in the stores and to date, this television offered through Wal-mart’s website was the best deal out there, hands down, period and trust me, I do my homework and have a better than average technical background and knowledge about electronics. I have owned the television. since the 22nd of December 2006 and I can't say enough good things about it. It has PIP (Picture in Picture), which is a feature I didn’t see available on any of the other 32”LCD‘s out there, several picture settings (i.e. Cinema, Sport, Vivid, Normal, etc…), several picture size settings (i.e. Normal 4:9, Wide, Wide screen 16:9 , Zoom etc…), several speaker output settings (i.e. Normal, stereo, rock, jazz, classical, surround etc…) and the speakers sound much better than the other brands I looked at in person at the stores. The remote is metal and feels nice and heavy in your hand and is easy to use. Kudos to Visco for making their remotes & televisions sturdy and not cheap like rest of the companies out there. The picture quality, contrast ratio, brightness, sound and all the other features are outstanding and I, this technically savvy consumer is one happy camper.
The bad reviews I have seen appear to be internal damage caused most likely from shipping, which caused shorts and pixal sticking problems. |

 | | Visco 32 lcd |
| Review By: shadowsilver on Feb. 4, 2007 |
| Good: picture price |
| Bad: speakers audio out connectors |
Review Summary: The tv is a decent bargain, but investing a couple hundred bucks more into a better brand tv would probably be worth it. The picture is great, especially connected to an Xbox 360. The audio is of very poor quality, my alarm clock has a better sound system. Also the audio out connectors, if you plug in an external audio out source to the tv such as a surround sound system or a pyramat sound rocker chair, the volume is still controlled from the tv, if I mute the tv it will also mute the surround sound system. |

 | | Picture missing |
| Review By: rk2007 on Jan. 4, 2007 |
| Good: Good Price |
| Bad: Picture blacks out periodically/ Bad sound |
Review Summary: Good price from Walmart, if it worked. I spent a month on the phone with VISCO and they have no idea how their product works. Also, VISCO will not return phone calls so don't bother leaving a message. In the end, they told me to hurry up and return it to Walmart before the warranty or exchange runs out. I returned it to Walmart and purchased another brand. I believe these LCD's are cheaply made and you are taking your chances when purchasing from this company. And don't throw out anything until you know it works. I own 3 other HDTV's and the picture is not even close to where it should be, when the LCD did work. BUYER BEWARE!! |

 | | OTA HD picture is great |
| Review By: happycamper on Dec. 28, 2006 |
| Good: Picture and number of connections |
| Bad: nothing yet |
Review Summary: Works like a charm with an indoor antenna for over the air HD broadcasts. Also works with a laptop on the VGA connection. The sound could certainly be better but there are audio outlets to correct that.
I would guess that most people want an HD TV for the picture quality and as far as I am concerned this set offers a lot of bang for the buck. I have it temporarily sitting next to a pretty good SD TV and the difference is amazing.

DISTINCT BUZZING FROM BACK OF TV 60% OF TIME, EASILY HEARD AND VERY ANNOYING. TV LOOKS GOOD AND SEEMS WELL BUILT. WWW.VISCOUSA.COM DOES NOT SEEM TO BE POSTING REVIEWS WHICH MAKES ME NERVOUS. DON'T KNOW WHETHER TO REPLACE W/ ANOTHER OR TRY ANOTHER BRAND. DO YOUR RESEARCH. |

| Review By: jonny49 on Dec. 26, 2006 |
| Good: Great Picture |
| Bad: Audio/Speakers |
Review Summary: This is my first LCD HDTV. I have seen other brands in stores and this LCD has a decent picture quality. I really bought it for my XBOX 360 and boy does it make the games I have look 50 times better than regular TV. The speakers suck but with a surround sound it does the job. I did adjust the color picture to my liking and like I said it has decent picture quality. Very easy to hook up and it came with its own screwdriver to install the base to the TV. Good deal for a LCD HDTV. |

 | | NOT BAD FOR THE MONEY |
| Review By: raleona2006 on Dec. 23, 2006 |
| Good: Price, picture quality, info/guide |
| Bad: Sound, one bad pixel |
Review Summary: Background: TV purchased (delivered 22DEC06) from Walmart to be used only for off the air HD channels, DVD movies, and laptop connection.
Price: fantastic, Picture: great (might need temp. change), HD channels via zenith in-door antenna: 24, Sound: poor, Changing channels: several seconds required to view picture after switching channels.
Problem: One bad pixel. Will request a replacement. Some ghosting on certain channels: could be caused by distance from broadcast station.
NOTE: following problem could be attributed to the TV, television station, or operator - the zoom/full button has no effect on picture.
Overall: with the exception of the bad pixel this LCD met my needs.

| Good: Awesome picture quality |
| Bad: N/A |
Review Summary: I bought this TV from Wal-Mart. The HDTV picture is awesome!
The Price is awesome! I will add a surround sound theatre sound system to bolster the built in speakers, which are OK for TV shows, but lack the depth of bass needed for movies (same as only TV builtin speakers). If you are looking for a big HDTV picture at a bargain price, this is it. |
