Summary: 21 days, 3 solid weeks, 2 phone calls, 12 emails in total and still no computer!
We put in an order online for a refurbished laptop and norton antivirus. A week later they had processed and shipped the norton package but not the computer. I wrote customer service and was told I had to contact the verification department. After 25 minutes on the phone and being bounced back and forth between customer service and the verfication department 4 times. I was told that my credit card company had verified the card within minutes of me placing the order; they could not tell me why it was hold. The rep flagged my order and told me they would contact me when the hold on my order was resolved.
1 week after that, 18 days after I had placed my order, I emailed customer service again. I received the same email message asking me to contact the verification. I replied that I had already tried that. The final message I received said my order had been cancelled without my consent or consultation. Unbelievable. |

Summary: A fun place to shop- refresh the inventory page regularly until you find the right computer then snatch it up quickly before someone else does! Be patient- the inventory is updated at random times day and night.
Bought a $2,500 laptop (fully equipped XPS1330, 2.6ghz core2 etc.) for $1,100 and put a 3 year dell warranty on it with Complete Care. I'm happy. |

Summary: same warranty as new Dell systems which is very good. I got a refurbished Dimension desktop that looks like brand new. |
