Summary: Started using gamefly when I bought my xbox360. Didn't want to immediately buy all new games so it seemed like a good solution. I stuck with them for a number of reasons.
1. Selection: They claim 4000 titles, which is a lot. Beyond that their selection quality is amazing. Alll the new titles as well as old favs and stuff I've had trouble finding other places. Games hit their site before they hit the shelves.
2. Price: With a 2-game plan, I spend about $250 a year. That translates to five games if I bought them for $50 a piece. I play way more than five games a year with gamefly. So, looking at it that way, it's super cheap.
3. Delivery: No shipping charges and turnaround time for me has been about 2-3 days. I live in Portland. Gamefly has a fastreturn service that sends out the next game in your queue as soon as the one you're returning is scanned at the post office. Most of the time I have two games on hand, but if not, I'm playing one while the other is coming in the mail.
There are other things like convenience, etc. but those are the main things I'm concerned about as a gamer. | | | Would shop in this store again: YES | | |
