Stay away from Handango

Summary: Handango believes that they can provide faster and more efficient resolutions to issues through email. If the product doesn't work, you’re going to have problems getting a refund. Handango only offers email support and it appears the email support that they offer could very well be automated. I sent 7 e-mails over the course of one month inquiring where my refund was. I received the following message 6 times: “Your account has been credited. Although most refunds appear on your credit card statement within 24 hours, some credit card companies may require an entire billing cycle to post a refund. This is dependent upon your credit card company. Thank you for being a Handango customer”. The 7th response was: “Handango has credited you account. Please contact the bank or credit card company for information about the credit to you account”. I called my credit card company and they had not received a credit from Handango almost one and a half months later. I strongly recommend staying away from Handango.
