 Summary: I ordered a Y530 in early December as a Christmas present--standard configuration. Lenovo's website said "available for delivery in 4 business days". It finally shipped over a month late after dozens of phone calls and posts to Lenovo's own customer message board. Great products, but don't buy direct--buy a stock product from a reseller (unless you have a very high tolerance for frustration). Why the PC magazines and E-zines haven't started to write about Lenovo's horrible service is inexplicable. Buyer beware!!! |

 Summary: Very similar experience to the previous post. I placed an order for this bag (part 41a4277) in early Nov. 2008 from the Lenovo website. I called Lenovo in December to check on the status and was told i would get the bag in 2 weeks. I called again in late December, and was told i'd get it "for sure" by the first week in January. Well, it's now Feb. 14, 2009. Yes, 3 months and no bag. I called Lenovo the other day and canceled my order. Do not order this bag, i think they have serious production problems. |

 Summary: I had more trouble discovering the status of my order with this company than I have experienced in a long time. I never got a confirming email, they couldn't give me an approximate ship date even though there was stock, and their CS department is offshore making it very hard to understand the telephone staff. I will never use them again. After two weeks,two emails, and three phone calls, I still don't have my product or an ETA. |
