Summary: Unpleasant experience with a return. Asked for a credit to the card I'd used for the purchase I was returning. Instead, a month later, rec'd letter from Macy's with numbers representing a "gift card" for the amount, less their outrageous shipping & "handling" charges. Didn't want to buy anything else just now, but decided to make the best of it & used the card for 2 items, ordered online. I rec'd half the order, second half is reported "back ordered". More time passing ... rec'd email from Macy's saying second half of my gift card order has been cancelled. After all this time, I've misplaced gift card letter, so no idea how to access the rest of the amount they owe me on the return. Customer serviceperson nice, but apparently not English speaker. Finally get a supervisor -- offered another "gift card" minus more huge shipping and handling charges. Have lost time & $$ on this transaction. Will not do business with Macy's again.

Summary: The experience with Macys has been great in store and online especially.They have great deals and always has new items.I appreciate the oppurtunity to finally review Macys.i have been a Macys card holder for going on 6 years now.It has always been pretty good shopping experience
