Summary: I went to Office Depot to get my daughter's laptop backed up before sending it to the company for repair. I brought in an external hard drive that they were unable to use because of how it was formatted. They ended up selling me another external hard drive that they said could be formatted for Mac and PC. They were not successful at that backup either.
In the process, they re-formatted the external hard drive I originally brought to the store (including years of pictures). I had repeatedly told them not to overwrite the external hard drive as I had loads of stuff on there. It took them forever to do this, with numerous trips back to the store trying to get them to get it right. It was a huge pain and the result was horrible.
DO NOT USE TECH SERVICES WITH THEM...THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! |

Summary: I ordered a piece of furniture from Office Depot on September 12. It was supposed to be delivered September 14. That day comes,and nothing. We didn't receive a call from anyone,not OD or the carrier. Later that night,I sent an email to customer service. The next day,we receive a call from OD saying that they're sorry it wasn't delivered,and they'll try to find out what happened and that they'll call back. They never did. We waited a couple of days and no call from anyone. So,we call them. We gave our order number,address,item number,ect. They said they'll call back and give us an update on delivery. Again,they never did. Another few days pass and we give them another call,with the same speech given as before. This time,they call back and say they have no idea what happened to the package and they'll call the delivery manager for more info. They didn't call back. Instead,the delivery truck arrives the next day with the item,six days late on September 20. Box was beat up,but everything was fine inside. I did get the item,but it was six days late and we were left guessing on when it would arrive. If you're going to get something from Office Depot,get it in the store and do not buy it online,unless it's a small item that can be delivered by UPS. Otherwise,it'll be a hassle. |
