 Summary: Like many other stories, I too experienced broken promises and poor customer service. I ordered a radio controlled helicopter for my nephew on December 1, 2008, and Sharper promised to deliver by December 18th. December 18th came and went and Sharper eventually informed me it could not meet its delivery obligations and would ship by January 20th. January 20th came and went and, to my dismay, Sharper promised to deliver by February 20th.
Suffices to say I canceled the order because I know how this would play out. Do not order anything online! |

 Summary: Placed order of in stock item by phone. Ten days later the order had not been processed. Customer Service told me the item was in stock, they had the correct billing and shipping info., but there "had been no movement" on the order. They refused to overnight the package to me and only said they could expedite it and it should arrive in 3-5 business days. |

 Summary: After about a year of reading all of the positive and negative stuff written about their Ionic Breeze air cleaner I decided to buy one at sharperimage.com. What the heck, I got a free shipping offer and 60 day money back guarantee. The product arrived in 3 days but I wasn't home to sign for it. When I called UPS they had already sent it back to Sharper Image. A quick call to the company found my order and Sharper Image shipped another unit no questions asked that day. Within 3 days I noticed the collection grid needed cleaning- it's true there aren't any filters to replace. I was amazed at the amount of black gook that came off on the paper towel I was using. I've since bought another one and put it in the room my dog sleeps. My girlfriend who used to complain about his smell swears it's gone away. This product is great. |

 Summary: I hate every product I've ever purchased from this place. This includes a ion air purifier, robot dog, office use mini bike excersizer, coin sorter, and car-portable mini fridge. Yes I kept returning items and trying to use new ones. Each one was either worse than the previous item or overpriced by at least $50.
They have no scientific data to prove any of their ionic breeze devices either. All they do is package normal things like CD players and give it some BS name like "sonic wave cone technology" and sell it for 3 times the price.
Never, EVER buy something from here. You will end up returning your items over and over until you get fed up write reports like this. |
